Frequently asked questions

Is the online card really free?

Yes. Each account can create up to 5 online cards with 12 photos per pet. Online card pages show small PetID247 ads to keep the service running.

How is the online card different from a tag?

The online card is a page to show off photos and keep records. The laser tag adds a call-owner button and finder messages, a 20-photo album and no ads.

Do AI photos cost anything?

Not from PetID247. You copy our ready-made prompt, create the image with your own ChatGPT or Gemini, then upload it to the album.

Where do I buy a tag, and how much?

Tags are sold through partner clinics and pet shops. You can also contact PetID247 via the Contact page or 0349 977 247 for prices and the nearest seller.

What does a stranger see when scanning?

Only what you make public: name, photos, breed, notes and — on tags — a call-owner button. Your number is never shown as text; online cards show no owner details.

Do I need a new tag if my details change?

No. The QR never changes; edit everything behind it in the owner area at any time.

Does partnering cost anything?

It depends on tag volume and whether you use our management software. Send your details on the Contact page and we will call you back.
